Back Ridge Farm & Co Remutaka Ranges
Welcome to the Back Ridge, we are Rob and Fiona Hazelwood.
As a husband and wife team, we are business partners and life partners. With backgrounds that include animal health, farming, nursing, and corporate management, we are combining our skills, strengths, and experiences to create a thriving business. We have a practical passion for creativity, and have always been building things, growing things, & imagining things.
Back Ridge Premium Labradors
As dedicated Labrador Breeders we are committed to the welfare of these beautiful dogs. We have owned and worked gundogs all our married life. We can’t imagine not having dogs around. We are privileged to have at Back Ridge Labradors, premium genetics, that we want to preserve and share.
Back Ridge Native Nurseries
We started out with a private nursery, growing mainly natives for regenerative, and shelter plantings. A growing admiration for the impact of trees on the landscape has led to the establishment of Back Ridge Nurseries, producing beautiful specimen trees, to add meaning to the land.
Back Ridge Rural Buildings
We’ve been building & modifying buildings for ever, it seems. We’ve really noticed the extra value a building brings, when it is well planned, and designed to meet the need. There is an old saying…. Form follows function…..and when you get that right, the result is so much more pleasing and useful. This passion for personalising structures led to the creation of Back Ridge Rural Buildings.
